Patricia Domser P.T. CHT received her Physical Therapy Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975. She obtained a Masters Degree from the University of New York. Relocating to Maryland, Pat enjoyed teaching at the University of Maryland Physical Therapy School and practiced in the Carroll County School system. She opened the first of the 4 clinics in Westminster in 1983. Continuing her education and interest in hand therapy, Pat earned Certification in Hand Therapy in 1998. Out of the office, she enjoys the theater, walking and travel. She reside in Carroll County with her family. Julie Plummer P.T. graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine with a degree in Physical Therapy. Joining Pat in partnership in 1991, she directed the opening of the Mt. Airy office and the Taneytown location. As Director of Clinical Education for Domser & Plummer, Julie works with our Maryland Physical Therapy Programs & Carroll Community Physical Therapist assistant programs in establishing internship placement for their students. Julie has been practicing in Orthopedics for 18 years. With an interest in sports and an avid skier, she enjoys working with knee injuries in particular. Other areas of study include Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy. She recently became certified with Ergomed Corporation to perform pre-employment orthopedic screenings and drug testing. Out of the office she breeds and shows English Setters, swims and ski's. Julie resides in Pennsylvania with her family. Cheryl Costin, PTA, graduated with honors from Carroll Community College in 2000 with an Associates Degree of Applied Science. She joined Domser and Plummer in 2002. Cheryl is assisting with the Ergomed Pre-Employment screens. She enjoys working with all Orthopedic injuries. Out of the office, she enjoys weight lifting, gardening and shopping. Cheryl resides in Mt. Airy with her husband and son. Betsy Bowen, P.T. graduated in 1983 from the University of Maryland Physical Therapy Program. Her professional experience includes Geriatric and Orthopedic practice. She joined Domser & Plummer in 1999, primarily working in the Mt. Airy facility as a part time therapist. In her spare time, Betsy enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends. She resides in Mt. Airy with her husband, Pat, and two daughters. Linda Levine graduated from Hunter College with a B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy, she relocated to Maryland in 1979. Her professional experience includes Pediatrics, Therapeutic Horseback Riding & Aquatics. Primarily, Linda has practiced in Orthopedics for the past 21 years. She joined Domser and Plummer in 2002, as a primary therapist for the Mt. Airy Office. Out of the office Linda enjoys gardening and quilting. She resides in Howard County. Jennie Cochran, P.T.A. graduated Summa Cum Laude from Carroll Community College in 1999 with an Associates Degree of Applied Science/Physical Therapy Assistant. Jennie holds membership in Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two year colleges. Jennie has previously worked for Domser and Plummer, however, she joined the staff in April 2004. Jennie's clinical experience includes In-patient: Stroke and Cardiac Rehabilitation and Out-patient: Orthopedic Rehabilitation; she also implemented an Aquatic Therapy program. Out of the office, Jennie is active in Church, holding various leadership positions. Jennie also volunteers for two local outreach organizations: Shepherds Table and New Life for Girls. Jennie resides in Westminster with her Husband and three Children. Amanda Strickhouser P.T.A., graduated from Carroll Community College in 2005 with an Associates of Science degree. She has been working with us since graduation as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Amanda provides care at our Mt Airy and Hampstead offices. She enjoys working with our pediatric population and runs the aquatic therapy program. She plans to specialize in myofascial techniques. Out of the office, Amanda enjoys skiing, horseback riding, juggling and Kayaking. She resides in Carroll County with her family. Jennifer Haines , P.T.A., graduated from Carroll Community College with a Physical Therapist Assistants degree and is licensed to practice in the state of Maryland. She joined our practice in the summer of 2007. Coming to us with 13 years of outpatient orthopedic experience as a technician and then a therapist. Jennifer works in our Taneytown and Westminster offices. She enjoys working with all types of orthopedic injuries. Jennifer resides in Carroll County with her family. Stephanie Adami, Occupational Therapist joined our rehabilitation team this year. She received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology at West Virginia University and a Master of Occupational Therapy at Chatham College in Pittsburg. Stephanie has many years of experience in various settings. Her experience includes pediatric and geriatric care in a psychiatric hospital, acute care, outpatient orthopedics and long term rehabilitation. Stephanie currently provides home health care in the area. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She is a sports enthusiast playing volleyball and football.
